About this lookup

Character & Encoding Hub is a static reference for identifying characters, understanding their code points, and copying them in the format you need. Every published record combines editorial copy with reviewed facts from the official Unicode 15.1 Character Database.

How records are reviewed

Each character record includes a reviewed date, a source link, and a status. Records are excluded from the published dataset until they have a complete name, aliases, category, block, script, and at least one evidence source.

What this site does not promise

Font support differs by platform. A character that renders as a box may still be valid; the issue is usually font coverage, not the code point. We do not claim to cover every assigned Unicode code point in this MVP.
